College is expensive, here's how to make it affordable.

Scholarships

Scholarships are a form of financial aid that does not need to be repaid. These are privately funded by the University, local or national groups and organizations, or corporations. Typically there are deadlines to apply, an essay needs to be written, and eligibility requirements met such as a certain GPA (grade point average), major (i.e. Accounting, Biology) or other qualification (number of credits registered for, member of a club or church, graduated from a specific high school, etc.). Students usually must also complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as part of the scholarship application process.

Students must apply for UAS scholarships by February 15th for the following Fall/Spring terms.
