Pre-Engineering
Engineers are in high demand in Alaska. At the University of Alaska Southeast, we recognize this need within our communities throughout Southeast. One of the biggest challenges we face is finding the most economical, efficient, and environmentally sound ways to use the vast natural resources that surround us. Opportunities abound in transportation, mining, environmental engineering, energy production and alternative energy. If you are the kind of person who enjoys the challenge of solving a problem, working as a team player, and figuring out how we as a society can do things better and more efficiently, then an engineering career may be for you.
