1 . What does Alpha Phi Omega do?^

We work as a group to plan and participate in meaningful service projects as well as developing effetive leadership roles and programs. In the process of this over all goal we share time together through fellowship (i.e. going to movies, concerts, camping, and other awesome stuff!)

2 . When do we meet?^

This Fall of 2007 we currently meet every Thurday at 8PM in the Student Housing Lodge upstairs.

3 . What is Alpha Zeta Theta all about?^

If you look though our web site or any handout having to do with Alpha Phi Omega you will see that our core principals are stated again and again: Service, Leadership, and Fellowship. Nationally, APO was established in 1925 by our Founder Frank Reed Horton. Horton strove to establish APO as a response to the violence and chaos that he witnessed when serving in WWI. Overall, Horton used some key aspects of the Boy Scouts, an orginization at the time which was highly integrative racially and religiously speaking, to promote the ideals of community and peacful resove with one another. Today, Alpha Phi Omega is one of the largest Service Fraternities in the world, helping to carry on the tradition of service and valuble leadership to all those that believe in a vison of a better humanity and world.
