^1 . Who is eligible for Health Services?

Only students taking 6 or more credits a semester through UAS are eligibile to use the clinic.

^2 . Is there a fee to use Health Services?

Each student taking 6 or more credits during a semester is charged an automatic $35 Health Services fee at the beginning of the semester.  After this payment is made there is no fee for visiting the Student Health Center.  We do charge a mnimal amount for certain products or medications purchased at the center.

^3 . How do I make an appointment?

Appointments may be made at the front desk of the Student Resource Center or by calling 796-6000 Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. 

^4 . I can't make an appointment- do you have walk in hours?

We do not have walk in hours.  Health Services is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, by appointment.  We cannot gaurentee a same day appointment or walkin, however we will do our best to see you as soon as possible. 

^5 . I have an emergency situation, what should I do?

For crises when Health Services are unavailable during business hours, after hours and weekends, please call 911 or Bartlett Regional Hospital Emergency Services at (907) 796-8427.

^6 . Where can I find products like band-aids or aspirin?

The Health Center, located in the bottom floor of Mourant, has a self-help area that has products such as cough drops, antacid, non-aspirin pain reliever, ibuprofen, aspirin, bandaids, and condoms.

^7 . Where can I find counseling services?

Counseling appointments can be made with Counseling Services by calling the Student Resource Center at (907) 796-6000.
