Certificate in Pharmacy Technology
This is a five-course program in partnership with UAA that provides a conceptual framework for pharmacy technician work and prepares individuals to take the national certification exam. It is appropriate for either beginning students or for those already employed as pharmacy technicians. Program is available via Distance Ed. for individuals located anywhere in the state.The 15-credit non-transcripted certificate is open and accepting students. It is advised that students take PHAR 101 first, and then consider taking two courses per semester. No more than two online courses per semester are recommended for students, particularly if they are working full-time. Advising information for the Certificate program is found online at:
