VPN Installation and Configuration

After downloading the PC installer from http://uas.alaska.edu/helpdesk/computers/vpn, double click on the downloaded installer. Click Next.

Click “Yes” at the License Agreement screen.

Click “Next” at the Install Destination Screen.

 

Click “Next” on the Start Menu Group Screen.

 

Wait for the Installer to run.

 

Click “Finish” after closing any open programs and saving your work, so that the computer can restart.

 

Open the VPN Client from the start menu.

Go to Connection Entries and choose Import…

 

Locate UAS.pcf, click “Open”.

 

Click “OK” in response to the confirmation message.

 

Click connect.

 

Enter your UAS username and password and click “OK”.

 

You’ll see an icon in the lower corner of your screen indicating you’re connected.
