If your portfolio is a course portfolio, students and the instructors can access it from the class list so there isn't any need to publish it. If you want your site to be browsed by other UAS users, publish the page. It can then be found here.

The URL to your site may be very long and hard to put on a business card or e-mail message. You can solve this problem by using the PUB feature to shorten the URL. PUB stands for Personal URL Builder. It's a fast and easy way to get a long address fashioned into a smaller more convenient one with the click of a few buttons.
To create your own

1. Head to http://uas.alaska.edu/pub
2. Sign in with your account
3. Enter your short pubname
4. Submit it!
5. Next, paste or type your long address
6. Click Submit Request!

Next, the Helpdesk will verifiy that things look good and send you a note when it's ready to go!
