If you are not hearing any of the participants in your webmeeting session, here are a few settings you can check.

  1. Make sure that the correct sound devices are selected. While in your webmeeting, click on "Tools", then "Audio", and then "Audio Setup Wizard". You can select which device you wish to use as your speakers, followed by your microphone.  
  2. On the left-hand side of your Blackboard Collaborate window, there will be two volume sliders. Make sure the right-hand "Speaker" volume slider is increased.
  3. Make sure the volume on your computer is not muted.
  4. The other participants may simply not be speaking at all. If someone in the session is talking, you will see a small speaker icon show up next to their name in the participants list.
