In order to see a list of printers, you will need to “authenticate” to the Printer Server. Basically this means telling the server your UAS username and password.
Windows XP
- Go to Start > Run…
- Type: “\\printers” and press Enter
- Enter uas login information putting “uas\” before your username. **
- We recommend NOT saving your password.
- Press enter
When complete, window will appear showing all printers available on campus. Double click on a printer to add it to your computer. When adding is complete, you will see the printer queue monitor.
Windows Vista
- Go to Start

** Note: If you aren’t prompted for login info, check your security settings. Some internet security software blocks this type of connection.
