Housing Descriptions
Residence Hall
The three story, 18,000 square foot Banfield Hall sits on a wooded hillside in the UAS student housing complex. The coed hall has 42 rooms with each room housing two students. Two rooms are joined into a suite for four, sharing a common entry vestibule and bathroom. The vestibule contains a small refrigerator and microwave. Each room includes a telephone.
There are common areas in Banfield Hall including a cozy lounge with two-story, full length windows overlooking the nearby forest. There is also a computer area, laundry, and kitchenette.
Apartments
There are two types of guest apartments: Singles Apartments and Double Occupancy Room/ Family-Style Apartments.
Singles Apartments
These are apartments with four bedrooms. Each resident has their own room and shares the bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen with three other guests. Guests are welcome to rent an entire apartment.
Double Occupancy Room Apartments (Family-Style Housing)
These are apartments with two bedrooms. Apartments may be rented privately for families or shared with other guests. Single guests in a Family-Style apartment share a bedroom with one other person and share the bathroom, dining room, living area, and kitchen with three other people.
All apartments are equipped with microwave, stove, and refrigerator. The common space in each apartment is fully furnished with couches, dining room table, and chairs. Each bedroom is furnished with two twin extra-long beds, two dressers, and two desks. Each apartment has a storage room in the entry way. The townhouse-style apartments also have storage beneath the stairs.
