Converting UAS Online Tasks to Blackboard Assignments

On UAS Online the "Task" provides a way for you to give instructions and attached files to a students and a mechanism for the student to turn in files (papers, documents, spreadsheets, etc).  You are then able to grade the assignment, give feedback and return papers or other files.   The same feature in Blackboard is called an "Assignment". [Note there is a separate feature in Blackboard called a Task which has a completely different function.]

There is currently no mechanism to import Tasks directly into Blackboard - instead you must copy and paste any text and re-attach files.  Once an Assignment is created in Blackboard it will automatically go into the gradebook and you can set options such as availability.

Collecting and Grading Assignments

Assignment files are viewed by the instructor through the Grade Center.  That is where you will view or download files, enter grades, feedback and any returned files. The student will go to their own gradebook (My Grades) to see their score and when they click on that they will be able to view feedback and receive any returned files.
