Quiz Support for Students

Quizzes can be created by faculty with a variety of question types and configurations. It is important that you pay close attention to the instructions for each quiz since failing to do so could end you up with a zero for the assignment.

The most common configuration for a quiz is with multiple choice and True/False questions (example) that will be graded and displayed automatically after submitting. (example) Generally, they are also linked to the Gradebook so you can see all your scores.

Besides True/False/Multiple choice questions instructors may also include matching with pull-down menus for the answers or short answer questions where you have to type the answer in the text box. (example) If short answer questions are included the scoring you see when you submit your quiz will not be the final score. The instructor will have to manually score the short answers then provide the final grade.

NOTE: Once you have submitted the quiz you can not access it again to edit it. Proofread your quiz before you submit it!

Accessing your Quiz

You must be signed in to UAS Online to access your quiz. It will appear in the Assignments section when the instructor has activated it and may be configured to be removed automatically on a specific day.
