Before an eLive Session

Preparing for an Elluminate Live! session is much like preparing for face-to-face: arriving at class before it begins, gathering materials, etc. The ideas are the same, but the look is a bit different, which is where this checklist is relevant.

The following pre-session checklist contains important considerations for web conferencing prior to entering your eLive sessions. While not all may be relevant, this should be a start to make online web meetings run smoothly and be more productive for you and your students.

Also, another consideration for a class new to eLive is to get students "up to speed" with eLive. There are two options here:

1. For new students, have students visit UAS's Student eLive pages prior to a session
2. For experienced students (and any session) you can upload the Welcome whiteboard below. This screen prompts students to set up their audio and gives them some basic reminders on using eLive.
