For academic success, it's important to make reservations early for our multimedia equipment.
Laptops are in high demand and early reservations are essential. Check out laptops should not be considered your primary means of technology. Laptops are checked out on a twenty four hour basis and student can have one reservation at a time. For emergency laptop needs, please see the computer lab supervisor. All our cameras are digital; both video and still cameras. Cameras are another item that students should reserve early. Cameras are checked out for a twenty four hour period, Monday - Thursday, and weekends, Friday - Monday. We do not provide media for our video cameras. Video cameras require a Hi-8 or Mini DV tape and may be purchased at the book store or a local Juneau store.
Wireless cards are checked out per semester. At the end of each semester, bring in a copy of the next semesters registration to a lab consultant as proof of enrollment.
Checkout items for use in the lab:
- LaCie Hexa Media Drive: will read CompactFlash, Microdrive, SD Memory Card, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, and MultiMediaCard.
