American Red Cross: Home Fire Campaign
The American Red Cross in Juneau focuses on preparedness education and disaster recovery and immediate response for Juneau community members.
We are looking for volunteers for community outreach working in teams to educate neighborhoods on home fire safety and install free smoke alarms. You will work in teams, install smoke alarms, review a fire safety and home hazard checklist and provide information about creating a fire escape plan with residents in designate neighborhoods.
This is a great opportunity to work in groups with friends or other Red Cross volunteers and meet this important need of our communities.
