History Department

The University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan History Department offers courses that support students seeking certificates, associate degrees and bachelor degree programs. Courses are offered both locally and by distance mechanisms including audio-conference and web-based.

In addition, the department offers a variety of interesting special topic history courses including Pacific Northwest History, Role of Religion in 19th Century U.S. History, and a variety of others.
