International Students

Please submit the following items:

• A completed web application or the paper application form signed and dated. You must complete all sections of the application.
• A $40 U.S. nonrefundable application fee. The fee should be payable to the University of Alaska Southeast in the form of a bank draft drawn on a U.S. bank or an international postal money order. Do not send cash. The application fee cannot be waived.
• Official transcripts and official English translations of your transcripts. Transcripts of coursework and grades are required for four years of secondary school study and from all postsecondary schools attended. An official transcript is one that contains the official stamp or seal of the school or is certified as official by the school, a U.S. embassy or consulate official, or other recognized international official. If you complete secondary school in a country where a secondary leaving examination is required for university entry, you will be required to provide us with the results of this examination.
• Test Scores. If your native language is not English, a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language is required.
• Financial Certification Statement. If you will require an I-20 form for a student visa, you must show you have sufficient funds to cover at least the first year (12 months) of study in the U.S.
