Proctored Exams

The Learning Center is happy to serve as a test proctor for any test that requires one.  We proctor exams for any local and distance University of Alaska course as well as courses from other university systems.  If you find yourself in need of this service, take the following guidelines into consideration:

  • It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements with the instructor or program for testing in the Learning Center and to arrange for testing materials to be sent to the Ketchikan campus.
  • Exams will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be completed during regular Center hours.
  • Extensions and other accommodations must be arranged with the course instructor.
  • Due to limited space, appointments for all exams are strongly encouraged.  Appointments can be made after testing materials are received.
  • We will attempt to accommodate special circumstances or requests on an individual basis.
  • Students are responsible for return mailing costs, unless prepaid returns are provided.
  • All non-UA distance exams are assessed a proctoring fee.

We will complete and sign Proctor Forms when necessary; simply bring them to our office. If you are using an online form such as the UAF online Exam Request form or need our contact information for submission, list the information as described below.
