Local Faculty
Instructors can choose to allow students who need special accommodations to take exams at the Learning Center, including make-up exams and exams that, for one reason or another, cannot be administered in class. Note that space is limited, so flexibility in testing times is greatly appreciated. We cannot administer exams in class for you.
Instructors interested in using this service should contact the Learning Center about a week in advance of the test date, fill out a Proctored Examination Request Form, and email or bring their exams with the Proctor Information Form to the Learning Center. Exams must be taken during regular Center hours.
Distance Faculty
The Learning Center also proctors exams for Ketchikan students taking distance courses. Exam materials can be mailed, emailed, or faxed:

Please be sure to include all of the information requested on the proctor information form. Students are responsible for return mail and proctor fees for non-University of Alaska exams. UA exams are proctored free of charge.
