Research Assistance

The staff at the UAS Ketchikan Campus Library provides assistance in locating facts, refining a research strategy, focusing a topic, and selecting the appropriate databases or other resources. Either stop by the Library or call us at (907) 225-4722 or (888) 550-6177 from anywhere in Alaska.

You may also send questions using our online form. A response to your query will be sent as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours, between approximately September 1 and June 30 of each year. The library is normally closed during July and August.

More in-depth assistance is available by appointment with the Librarian. Such a research consultation could provide you with research strategies for a larger research project, tips for searching the First City Libraries catalog and other databases, or Internet searching techniques.
