Academic Planning
Academic Advisors
Academic Advisors help students understand university policies and procedures, clarify educational goals, identify program options, make decisions about degrees and select courses that fulfill a student's degree requirements, transfer plans and educational goals. In addition, academic advisors also help students with academic progress issues.
Academic advisors are assigned for all degree seeking students as part of the admission process. Your admission letter lists your academic advisor. New students and non-degree seeking students should contact the Student Resource Center at 228-4563 for advising services as soon as possible. Degree seeking students are required to have their advisor's signature on their registration forms.
