The United Students of the University of Alaska Southeast Ketchikan campus are dedicated to increasing campus recycling efforts on campus.
Recyclable Grocery Bags
In our efforts to reduce the number of plastic grocery bags used annually (500,000,000,000 bags) we encourage students, faculty and staff to use recyclable grocery bags daily. Visit the front desk at the Zeigler Building and ask for a free UAS Recycles Grocery bag.
Campus Recycling
Please use the bins located in the Student Lounge and upstairs in the Ziegler Building to support our efforts to recycle paper, plastic and aluminum.
