The mission of the UAS Ketchikan New Student Orientation is to assist new students in making a successful transition, academically and socially, into the UAS culture and community.
All new degree-seeking students are required to attend the orientation to ensure a smooth transition to UAS. The fall 2010 Orientation will occur on Friday, August 27th from 2pm - 5pm. All new students will be mailed specific information about the Orientation approximately two weeks before the start of the orientation. Students who can not attend the orientation at the time allotted will attend a virtual orientation (select the Distance Program link in the left hand column). Any student new to UAS is invited to participate in Orientation activities.
