Services for Students (distance and on-campus)

What you need to know about using the Egan Library online:

First, register for a library card so that we have you in our system.

Second, find your UAS username so that you can gain access to library databases from any computer.

Third, activate your email account (the Help Desk can tell you how)

Fourth, learn to use the Egan Library website! Here is how:

Visit our Research Assistance page for helpful guides and sign up for the Egan Library Online Blog and Forum

Visit the Library Catalogs page and Electronic Books page to find books on your research topic

Visit the Find Articles by Subject page to conduct journal article research in your research area OR

Visit our Alphabetical List of databases offered for journal article research OR

Visit our Quick Links to database vendors page for journal article research

Visit our Finding Journals page for locating the full text of journals and articles within them

Create a user account our new Interlibrary Loan system ILLiad (this will allow you to request books and articles from the Egan Library)
