Turning Trauma Into Art

Director of Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, Migael Scherer, speaks at UAS during Women's History Month. Scherer, a sailing enthusiast, author, and groundbreaking thinker on trauma and recovery has spent the last ten years turning her survival of a nearly fatal attack she suffered in a Seattle laundromat into writing that "offers an emotional roadmap for prevailing over any trauma" (Seattle Times).
