Help UAS raise the Eagle Totem
One Completes the Other
The University of Alaska Southeast Eagle Totem Fundraising Campaign will provide the private financial support needed to carve and erect the Eagle Totem on the UAS Auke Lake Campus. Total project cost is estimated to be $160,000. The Sealaska Heritage Institute and Sealaska Corporation donated the 15-ton, 45-foot red cedar log for the totem, valued at $40,000. The remaining $120,000 will be raised by UAS through requests for gifts from Native Corporations, businesses and individuals throughout Southeast Alaska.
Donations in honor or memory of loved ones are an ideal way to help make the project happen and remember the legacy of family and friends.
If you’d like to make a contribution in support of the UAS Eagle Totem you may do so by using the University of Alaska Foundation’s secure site and selecting the option of making a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift using your MasterCard or Visa. Please indicate in the comments box that your gift is for the UAS Totem Project.
Gifts may also be made by check payable to the UAS Totem Project and mailed to:
