Disclosure of Institutional Graduation
Completion and Transfer-out Rates
The University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) is pleased to provide the following information regarding our institution's graduation/completion rates. The information is provided in compliance with the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. The rates reflect the graduation/completion status of students who enrolled during the 2007-2008 school year and for whom 150% of the normal time-to-completion has elapsed.
During the fall semester of 2007, 108 first-time, full-time, certificate or degree-seeking undergraduate students entered UAS. After 6 years (as of August 31, 2013) 16% of these students had graduated from our institution or completed their programs. During this same six-year period, 21% of the 108 students transferred to other institutions of higher learning before completing their UAS programs.
For degree-seeking students who started in the Fall terms of 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 an average of 26% completed their programs within 150% of normal completion time; an average of 25% transferred to other institutions before completing their UAS programs.
