LEGISLATIVE FORUM ORGANIZED BY UAS STUDENTS

All the candidates for Juneau legislative office have been invited to a candidate forum organized by UAS students. The public forum takes place Tuesday (Sept. 29) at 1:30 p.m. in the Mourant Building on the Auke Lake campus. A voter registration table will also be available.

UAS student president Josh Horst said, "We want to give a lot of new students who really don't know about Juneau and Alaska politics as well as students who have been here a while, an opportunity to meet these people and find out what they think about us. About our students here."

Candidates invited to the forum include Kim Elton and Don Abel running for the senate, Bill Hudson and John Clough in House District 4, and Beth Kerttula for District 3.
