MARINE HYDRAULICS CLASS OFFERED

A five day class in Applied Marine Hydraulics will be offered Dec. 14-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. UAS Assistant Professor Chuck Craig said, "About half the time will be spent hands-on working with components."

Students will work on pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, lines and fittings during the class. Craig said, "The class is designed as an intensive look into the components that make up a marine hydraulic system."

Register for MT-193P, a 1.5 credit class, at the UAS Auke Lake campus or at the Marine Tech Center near Harris Harbor. For information call 465-8787.
