Human Rights Day activities set for UAS
Student members of Amnesty International are organizing two events for Human Rights Day on December 10. This is the 50th anniversary of the International Declaration of Human Rights which was signed by all U.N. members. Human Rights Day activities begin at noon in the Lake Room of the Mourant Building. Samira and Doug Samimi-Moore will discuss religious persecution. Samira's father was executive in Iran in 1981. A candlelight vigil is set for 3:30 p.m. outside Egan Library.
