BOAT REPAIR AND DECK BUILDING CLASSES START AT UAS

Three different classes starting in April will help with spring projects. The UAS deck building and boat repair classes meet on Friday evenings and weekends. Students may register at the Auke Lake campus or at the Marine Tech Center near Harris Harbor. Wooden Boat Repair (MT 251) begins April 9 and presents construction and repair techniques used with wooden boats. Fiberglass Boat Repair (MT 255) begins April 9 and deals with materials, techniques, equipment, tools, and corrections. Deck Building and Design (CT 193P) meets April 9-25 and includes planning, design and deck construction from one of the design.
