UAS SPRING SCHEDULE MAILED TO EACH JUNEAU ADDRESS The schedule of spring classes for UAS is being mailed to more than 15,000 Juneau addresses. The 64 page schedule includes 42 pages of class listings. More than 330 different classes are begin offered. The schedule includes a description of each class, meeting time and place, instructor, prerequistes if any, and number of credits. The rest of the schedule includes a guide to registration, tuition and fees, financial aid, the academic calendar, the schedule for placement exams, campus services, campus directory, campus map, admission and housing applications and more. Registration for spring semester is underway at the Auke Lake campus. Those who have taken a UAS class since fall semester1996 may register by phone. Spring classes begin January 18. Additional copies of the schedule are available at UAS campus buildings and local libraries. Anyone who was missed in the mailing may receive a copy by calling 465-6457. -30-
