NC Machinery Co., the Juneau Caterpillar dealer, has just donated three engines to the University of Alaska Souteast diesel program.

"These are state of the art engines," according to Chuck Craig, who teaches diesel classes at UAS.æ "This is a significant boost to our program by helping us stay current."æ He said the engines will be used for training aids for students who will take them apart, adjust and then reassemble them.

Doug Blumer, Southeast manager, said,æ "NC Machinery and myself are committed to supporting local training to help local hire.æ It's advantageous for everyone."æ
