January 3, 2002 Two University of Alaska Southeast adjunct art faculty members, Dan Fruits and Jane Terzis, have had work accepted into the 29th All-Alaska Juried Exhibition. In addition, work by UAS art student Chuck Taylor was also accepted. The exhibition juror was Elizabeth Brown, chief curator for the Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington. She chose 203 pieces out of 736 entered. 217 artists entered from 30 Alaskan communities. The exhibition will open at the Anchorage Museum on January 13 and will run until March 3. It will then tour the state for a year. In addition, Terzis is also scheduled for a solo exhibition of new paintings at the Anchorage Museum, opening on March 10. This work will then show in Fairbanks at the Well Street Art Company in May and at the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council in June. For information: Kathy Vail Roche -30-
