January 10, 2002 A special registration for UAS spring semester classes will be held downtown on Friday at the Bill Ray Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The registration is offered as a convenience to those working and living downtown. Registration continues Friday at the Auke Lake campus between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Spring semester classes begin Monday, January 14. Orientation for new students also takes place on Friday starting with registration at 9:30 a.m. in the Mourant Building's Lake Room. Events include a "nuts and bolts" campus tour, lunch with current students, a college student inventory, and presentations on "Planning for Success," "You and Your Money," and "Transferring to UAS." New students are the dinner guests of faculty and staff Friday evening in the campus tradition called, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. -30-
