2004 “This is a great step forward for the University,” said UAS Chancellor John Pugh. “The addition of the six new programs this year, plus the five we added last year are really helping to fulfill the educational and employment demands of state.” When the Board of Regents met in Juneau last year they passed certificates
in automotive technology and residential building science. The Board
also passed bachelor degrees in English, Social Science and Information
