UAS Evening at Egan Lecture Series Begins Sept. 16th

The sixth annual Evening at Egan Free Lecture Series will begin on Sept. 16th at 7 p.m. in the Egan Lecture Hall with The Art of Song. UAS is honored to present Professor Stewart Emerson of the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin, Germany and Joyce Parry Moore, UAS Adjunct Professor of Music and Opera to GO Artistic Director to kick off this year's series. Professors Emerson and Parry-Moore will discuss and perform the style of art song produced by the composers of the Romantic Period.

This year's lecture series features titles such as CSI Wildlife: Prosecuting Wildlife Crimes with Forensic Biology, American Cannibals: A Literary History and Creating Alaska: The Constitutional Convention 50-Years Later. The series is free and open to the public. All Lectures are held on Fridays at 7 p.m during the fall semester in the Egan Lecture Hall on the Auke Lake campus.
