Overview

Early each January, UAS offers professional development opportunities to faculty and staff through the Spring Startup event.  

Current Year

Spring Start up is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Accreditation is an important focus of this year's event. Please see the agenda below.  Morning sessions will be available to Ketchikan and Sitka via the UAS YouTube Channel [https://youtu.be/kVIxt-Wy5ao] that includes a chat feature for any questions.  The afternoon sessions on Digital Promotion and Tenure Files (same presentation offered twice) will be available in Ketchikan Paul 516 and Sitka 229.  Those sessions will be offered via Zoom [https://interfolio.zoom.us/j/5876590500] which may require a download prior to the meeting start.

A CPR First Aid training session is scheduled for Thursday, January 10. The class is currently full, but a wait list registration is available on the CPR Sign-up Form tab above.

12/20/2018 - CLASS IS CURRENTLY FULL - YOU CAN STILL FILL OUT THE FORM IF YOU WISH TO BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST.

Please use the form below to sign up for the CPR/First Aid/AED training course to be held on the Juneau Campus during Spring Startup.  

  • Thursday, January 10, 2019  9 a.m.– 2 p.m. @ EG 224 - Assistant Professor Neil Nickerson  **This is a traditional, fully in-person training including hands on and classroom.**

Class space is limited, so sign up early. Participants will be chosen on a first come, first served basis.  You will be notified by e-mail if you will participate in this course.
