Graduation and Commencement
Welcome to the ranks of the lifelong learners. At UAS, student success is our primary goal. We want our graduates to succeed in their chosen fields as well-rounded candidates for Alaskan jobs in business, as teachers, scientists, and in the trades. As importantly, we want to provide the type of education that opens the door to a more rich and fulfilling life.
The willingness to challenge your own viewpoints is an indispensable task in continuing your personal growth. At UAS, we hope your individual growth will spill over and inspire every aspect of your life. One person’s inspiration can help strengthen an Alaskan community to flourish in an ever-changing, ever-challenging world. Ultimately, we hope that you will return to UAS as civic leaders, accomplished writers, heads of business, inspirational teachers, noted scientists, and inspire the next generation of UAS graduates.
