Fall priority registration opened April 11, 2005 for program students.
Open Registration opens April 25, 2005.

The University of Alaska Southeast welcomes anyone who is interested in taking classes for the semester.  If you are a continuing student pursuing a degree program, we encourage you to register early in order to reserve seating in the classes you need to progress toward graduation. If you are a new student, it’s also very important that you speak with an advisor well before classes begin in order to get registered early.  For Non-degree students wanting to take one or more classes for personal enjoyment, may register beginning April 25.

WEB REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

  • Plan your schedule before logging on to UAOnline. Include alternate class choices, should your first choice be unavailable.
  • If you are a new student at UAS and not admitted to a degree program you must register at Records and Registration (Novatney, 2nd floor). You will need the Course Registration form, which is available from the UAS forms page of our web site.
  • New Students at UAS admitted to a degree program and returning students that have taken classes at UAS in the past 2 years may follow the procedures below:
  • Go to UAOnline and select, "Log-in to secured area".
  • Log-in by entering your 8 digit student ID number or your SSN if you were a student prior to June 2004.
  • Enter your 6-digit PIN, (initially your date of birth), MMDDYY, no hyphens. See PIN information below.
  • Choose "Student Services".
  • Click on "Registration" and follow the prompts
  • When you are finished, click on "Return to home page" to logout and protect your records.
  • Be sure to drop any courses you decide not to take. You are responsible academically and financially for your registration activity.

MAIL OR FAX REGISTRATION
The Course Registration form is available on the UAS Forms page. Please be sure to complete the entire registration form. For mail-in registration, enclose check, money order, or Visa,or Mastercard number and expiration date.  Fax forms may include credit card number and expiration date.

PREREQUISITES FOR COURSES
You are responsible for having met the prerequisites for the courses. Prerequisites are listed in individual course descriptions in the search results of the Course Listing On-line and the Course Listing in PDF. If you have not taken the necessary prerequisites but feel confident to perform the course work, you may request permission from the instructor of the course to enroll in the class.
You must have the instructor sign the registration form. Junior or senior class standing is needed to enroll in 300 or 400 level classes.

COURSE SCHEDULE CHANGES
The fall course schedule is subjected to change and is updated dialy on the UAS schedule web site. Most classes in the schedule require minimum enrollment and students are encouraged to register early.

PERSONAL INFORMATION CHANGES
Update your current address, telephone number and email address at UAOnline or with the Records & Registration office by completing the Change of Name/Address/Phone form on the forms page in order to receive information from UAS in a timely manner.

PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Your 6 digit numerical PIN for UAOnline is initially set as the month, day and year of your birth – Example: April 1, 1967, enter 040167. Protect the security of your PIN by changing it frequently.  If the system says that you do not have a PIN, contact Records and Registration at (907) 796-6458 or Computing Services Help Desk at (907) 465-6400.

GRADE AVAILABILITY
Grades are accessible at UAOnline shortly after classes end. To obtain your grades log in to the secure site and follow the directions provided. Note: Your grades will not be mailed to you.


FALL 2005 FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE
Final exam week runs from December 12 through December 17, 2005.
The daily final exam schedule is available on the December Campus Calendar and in print form as an Acrobat File (PDF, 46KB).
