Registration Methods

Online registrations:

• If you are a returning student, you can register in MyUA, through the UAOnline channel.
• If you are new to UAS, you can register through UAOnline. 
  
  • If you are not seeking a degree, first apply as a "non-degree seeking" student through UAOnline (choose: Apply for Admission). Once you have finished your full online application, look up your new UA ID number. Then use your UA ID and a default PIN number (your birthday in 6 digits: MMDDYY) to log-in and register for classes.

Paper registrations :

• you can come to campus and fill out a Registration form (PDF | 76KB)
• you can print off a Registration form (PDF | 76KB), complete and sign it, then fax it to (907) 796-6365 
• you can mail a completed Registration form to:

• you can print off a Registration Form, complete and sign it, then scan it as an attachment to your email, and send it to registrar@uas.alaska.edu

You will have access to several resources by the day after you first register at UAS, including your official UA student email account, and the MyUA portal. The MyUA portal provides access to your email, class schedule, UAOnline, and a host of other services.  Follow instructions for first time log-in, using ELMO (Easy Login Maintenance Option) to setup your credentials.

All official university correspondence will be sent to your UA student email account, so be sure to check it often or set forwarding to any commercial account you prefer.

Priority Registration

In general, only UAS degree-seeking students will be able to register in UAS courses during priority registration. However, program students affiliated with UAA/UAF are welcome to register for ECE (early childhood education) courses offered through UAS during priority registration.

Open Registration

All other students are welcome to register during open registration.
