Library Information Literacy for Distance Students

Introduction to rapidly evolving online research methods and the principles of information retrieval and organization. Designed for students without access to physical libraries; emphasis is on skills required to navigate the virtual library environment. Includes locating and evaluating information in e-book collections, full-text article databases, online indexes, via Internet, and interlibrary loan. Skills acquired are immediately relevant for other distance courses.
