Shannon Kinsella is a waterfront engineer with twenty one years experience in planning, permitting, and designing waterfront facilities. Her design projects include marinas, boat ramps, waterfront parks, piers, and commercial facilities, including design of the 2009 National Marina of the Year. She is a Principal and the Waterfront Group Director at the civil engineering firm of Reid Middleton, in Everett, Washington. Shannon has degrees in Civil Engineering and Oceanography from the University of Washington and a Masters in Coastal Engineering from the University of Hawaii. She is a licensed professional engineer in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and California. Shannon's interests outside of work also revolve around the water; swimming, sailing, beachcombing, and traveling to national and international waterfront cities.
