This 24 week course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage a telehealth program for a health care organization. Successful completion of Courses 1 and 2 is a prerequisite.
Topics covered: strategic planning, establishing staff roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures, recruiting, clinical workflow and utilization, integrating billing & reimbursement, equipment logistics, training program management, tools for staff, metrics and data analysis, program planning and milestones, building a business case for telehealth service, reviving programs, marketing and future opportunities.
This is a noncredit training which earns 60 continuing education contact hours (6.0 CEU).
