This short course reviews the concept of pH, its importance to water and wastewater treatment, and how pH is measure.
The theory of the operation of the pH probe and pH meters is discussed and procedures explained for pH meter calibration and making pH measurements. Care of the pH probes and troubling shooting probes and meters are also discussed.
This is a noncredit training, for Water and Wastewater Operators, which earns 1.5 continuing education contact hours.
