Install the Java Runtime Environment

Java logo Some websites with interactive activities require the Java Runtime Environment.

Here is one example of a site which uses Java. Not all sites will require the same version of Java.

If you need to install or update your Java Runtime Environment.

Windows logo
If you are using Windows go here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Mac OS X logo
If you are using a Macintosh with OS X then Java comes installed.
To update go here: http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/java/
Mac OS 9 logo
If you are using a Macintosh with OS 9 then you need to install Java MRJ SDK 2.2
