The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree at the University of Alaska Southeast, Sitka Campus provides a solid foundation in mathematics, written and oral communication, the natural and social sciences, the humanities and fine arts. This online degree prepares students for career advancement or transfer to baccalaureate programs with an emphasis in the sciences.

The Associate of Science degree requires completion of English S111 and Math S105.

Placement test scores determine where students start in Math and English courses.
