How to Register
Online Registration
Below are the steps for registering Online. For your convenience, you may want to print this out for reference while entering UAOnline:

Use a printed course schedule or do a search to register for your classes. (Note: If doing a search, use 'S' for the Sitka campus courses. If you enter 'F' or 'A' you will get Fairbanks or Anchorage). Courses that need instructor/advisor signature or require placement testing will not be available for online or phone registration. |

Be sure that all changes are submitted when you feel your schedule is complete. Then press "Complete Your Registration". When you have done this, your fees for the semester will be displayed. |

When done, press the "Exit" button on the top left and "Return to Homepage." Stop by the Records and Registration office in your area or call them at (907) 747-7721 to get a printout of your schedule. Be sure to check it to make sure everything is accurate. |

Payment is required at the time of registration. Follow the instructions provided by UAOnline for making payment. |

Notes
PIN (Personal Identification Number)
Your 6 digit numerical PIN for UAOnline is initially set as the month, day and year of your birth. (Example: April 1, 1967 would enter 040167.) Protect the security of your PIN by changing it frequently. If the system indicates that you do not have a PIN, contact the Computing Services Help Desk at 465-6400.
Prerequisites for Courses
You are responsible for having met the prerequisites for the courses. Prerequisites are listed in individual course descriptions in the Course Schedule. If you have not taken the necessary prerequisites but feel confident to perform the course work, you may request permission from the instructor of the course to enroll in the class. You must have the instructor sign the registration form. Junior or senior class standing is needed to enroll in 300 or 400 level classes.
Course Schedule Changes
Some classes in the schedule require minimum enrollment. Students are encouraged to register early.

Grades
For grade availability see Academic Calendar for specific semester dates. To obtain your grades, log into the secured area of UAOnline. Your grades will not be mailed to you.
