Each powerpoint presentation below will give you step-by-step instructions on how to perform various tasks, or use certain tools available to Sitka students, that will help you easily research for, and write, your essays. Use the powerpoint presentations as often as you like, and take the quizzes at the end of each one to see how well you understood the topic.

Plagiarism is a tricky concept that is not always clear to students. Follow this link for information about plagiarism. By understanding what plagiarism is, you can avoid accidentally doing it yourself. The most important point to note, however, is that if in doubt about whether or not something you write is in fact plagiarism, always ask an instructor or tutor for help.
