Since Distance Education students are not able to travel to campus for orientation, we'll bring the campus to you! We will send you a Student Information Packet that outlines UAS-Distance Education policies, how to phone-in for classes, and how to take advantage of library resources, etc.

UAS-Sitka offers orientation materials when you register. If you're new to the campus, ask for the Student Information Packet when you register. If you aren't registering in person, we'll mail one to you. It provides you with information on important dates, University policies and procedures, and student’s rights and responsibilities. Anyone in the Instructional Services Office will also be happy to answer questions and get you started on the right track.
